As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications. The role involves designing, implementing, and executing test plans, test cases, and automated tests to identify defects and ensure that the final product is functional, stable, and user-friendly. Your primary responsibility will be catching bugs or issues, which helps improve the overall user experience and reduce the cost of post-deploy fixes. In addition to manual testing, you will create and maintain automated tests to efficiently validate software functionality. You will track and report issues, provide clear, detailed feedback to developers, and ensure that all fixes meet the defined requirements before software is deployed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts
    Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing
    Collaborate with product managers, IT business analysts, system analysts, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and testing needs

  • Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring clear communication of issues and their resolutions.

  • Review product specifications and software designs to identify potential areas of concern before testing
    Use test automation tools and frameworks to improve testing efficiency

  • Ensure that software meets customer and business requirements by validating its functionality and performance.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices
    Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist clients with product validation activities

REQUIREMENTS:​

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field

  • At least 2-4 years of experience as a QA Engineer, Automation Engineer, Software Tester, or similar role, with expertise in both manual and automated testing

  • Proficiency in programming languages like Java or Python to build and run automated test scripts.

  • Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks

  • Experience with bug tracking and project management tools

  • Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

  • Strong communication skills for documenting test results and working with cross-functional teams

  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and testing tools
