
HVAC Sales Engineer
Location: Baku, Azerbaijan / Riga, Latvia

1. Position Objective:
To ensure a full-cycle approach to HVAC systems, including engineering design, technical support, and active sales, as well as effective interaction with clients.
The employee shall:

Possess strong engineering expertise in HVAC and piping systems

Be capable of selling technical solutions and services
-
Act as a technical consultant for clients
2. Key Responsibilities
2.1 Technical Leadership and Coordination
-
Act as a technical lead in the following areas:
-
HVAC systems
-
Industrial piping
-
Ventilation and ducting systems
-
Ensure coordination with other departments (Process, Mechanical, Civil/Structural, Instrumentation & Control)
-
2.2 Design and Engineering
-
Develop and supervise:
-
HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems
-
Industrial ducting and gas handling systems
-
Piping systems (water, gas, slurry)
-
-
Perform and oversee:
-
Heat load calculations
-
Airflow and aerodynamic calculations
-
Equipment selection
-
-
Conduct pipe stress analysis
-
Select: Materials / Valves and fittings /HVAC equipment
-
-
Prepare and review documentation:
-
P&ID diagrams / Specifications / Material Take-Offs (MTO)
-
-
Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards
-
Maintain high quality of engineering documentation
2.3 Construction and Commissioning Support
-
Provide on-site engineering support
-
Resolve technical issues during construction
-
Participate in: Commissioning and start-up / System inspections / Punch-list preparation

Analyze failures and deviations
2.4 Technical Support and Troubleshooting
-
Diagnose HVAC system failures
-
Optimize system performance
-
Provide technical support to: Operations / Maintenance / Quality control teams
3. Sales Responsibilities (HVAC Sales)
3.1 Client Management

Identify and attract new clients
-
Conduct meetings and negotiations
-
Identify customer needs
-
Prepare commercial proposals
3.2 Technical Sales
-
Select HVAC solutions based on client requirements
-
Present Technical solutions / Economic benefits
-
Prepare techno-commercial offers
-
Perform project cost estimation
3.3 Sales Execution
-
Manage clients from first contact to contract signing
-
Participate in tenders
-
Coordinate with suppliers
-
Monitor contract execution
3.4 Business Development

Analyse HVAC market trends
-
Identify new business opportunities
-
Develop sales strategies
-
Participate in exhibitions and business meetings
-
Travel to Europe for client meetings and project participation
4. Candidate Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Languages: Azerbaijani (AZ), Russian (RU), English (ENG)
Experience: 4–7 years of experience in HVAC systems and Piping design
Technical Skills (Mandatory)
Strong knowledge of: HVAC systems / Industrial ventilation / High-temperature processes
